Our production system is running ver 6.0.22 and we're trying to move to 6.1.10. I have 6.1.10 up and running in a development environment and need to load an old production database backup. Is there a way to restore a 6.0.22 backup into a 6.1.10 environment?

Thanks,

The normal technique would be to load the old backup as a second dev environment and upgrade it, then apply any required changes to your schemas from the first dev env. Best to practice this before attempting it for the production system. Be sure to back up the entire environment (NOT just the system folder) before and after the upgrade, and ensure the db doesn't need recovery before starting (just start and stop cleanly the rap or a singleuser IDE). Migrate a small simple system first if possible.

I agree that this is the best approach given the particular situation.
