Problem with form property Backbrush?

Hi
When designing a form to run both as a JADE client and via a browser -- then I set the BMP picture file I wanted to use as a backdrop to the form by assigning the picture file using the backbrush property in the Painter.

This then displayed correctly as a JADE client and in the browser.

Then I went into Painter and changed the picture file to use as a backdrop -- and the JADE client picked it up but when the application was run web-enabled it always picks up the FIRST BMP picture file specified and not the updated one.

JADE Support have confirmed this bug in 4.2.2. Has anyone got around it ? Ciao ...........................................................

It's a caching problem that needs fixing. A work around is as follows.

All pictures you create on forms that are web-enabled end up being .jpg files in your JADE BIN directory.

Using the backdrop picture as an example :

If you then change your backdrop picture in Painter via the Backbrush property and then display the form as a JADE client it will display with the new picture. However, the physical picture file is NOT refreshed in the BIN directory and so when the form is displayed via the browser it still picks up the old copy.

Hence if you physically delete the .jpg file in the BIN directory -- this will trigger JADE to deposit a fresh copy of the picture file to use -- and a display of the form in the browser will then present the new backdrop picture.
